Privacy Policy

"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act, and means information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained in such information, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from that information alone, such as health insurance card insurer numbers (personal identification information).

The Service may ask users for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and email address when registering for use. In addition, the Service may collect information related to transaction records, including users' personal information, between users and partners, etc., from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distribution destinations; hereinafter referred to as "partners").

The purposes for which the Service collects and uses personal information are as follows:

The Service shall only change the purpose of use of personal information when reasonably recognized as related to the purpose before the change. When the purpose of use is changed, we will notify users of the changed purpose by our prescribed method or publish it on this website.

The Service will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from users, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws.

• When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
• When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
• When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them in executing affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual may impede the execution of such affairs

• Method of accepting requests from the individual

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the recipient of such information shall not be considered a third party in the following cases:

• When the Service entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
• When personal information is provided due to succession of business through merger or other reasons
• When personal information is jointly used with a specific person, and the individual has been notified in advance or placed in a state where the individual can easily know about such joint use, including the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of persons to jointly use it, the purpose of use by those who use it, and the name or title of the person responsible for the management of such personal information

When an individual requests disclosure of personal information, the Service shall disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure would fall under any of the following, we may not disclose all or part of it, and if we decide not to disclose, we will notify the individual without delay. Please note that a fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

• When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
• When there is a risk of significantly impeding the proper execution of our business
• When it would violate other laws and regulations

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, we will not, in principle, disclose information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information.

Users may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") of personal information from the Service according to procedures prescribed by us, if the user's own personal information held by the Service is incorrect.

If the Service receives a request from a user as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, we will correct the personal information without delay. If the Service makes corrections based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make corrections, we will notify the user without delay.

When requested by an individual to suspend or erase the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by wrongful means, the Service will conduct necessary investigations without delay. Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if it is determined necessary to respond to the request, we will suspend the use of the personal information without delay. When we have suspended use based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when we have decided not to suspend use, we will notify the user without delay. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension of use would require substantial cost or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures necessary to protect the user's rights and interests can be taken, we will take such alternative measures.

The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters separately stipulated in laws and regulations or in this Policy. Unless otherwise specified by the Service, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
